Initially, Wal-Mart uses industrial monitor camera for construction sites, giving flexible viewing capabilities. According to Wal-Mart’s director of renewable-power and energy-efficiency projects, Marty Gilbert, the camera’s zoom in and zoom out feature serves him best since he can immediately see details. At present, Gilbert is encouraging Wal-Mart’s external contractors to access the cameras to reduce cost from travel and other related expenses. Gilbert told the contractors that by eliminating even just three business trips can justify the cost of the said industrial monitor camera.
Gilbert’s department alone handles up to 40 projects in a month, adding that at any moment, Wal-Mart might have 500 domestic construction projects in the pipeline. Therefore, obviously the industrial monitor camera really provides an enormous role in the constantly growing business of the said company.
