Peugeot Australia has fitted a device that everybody demands in the Land Down Under, a standard reversing camera across the range, and has tag a price of AU$28,990 onto its brand new 4008 crossover SUV which concept was based on Mitsubishi ASX, Outlander Sport.

According to the Peugeot’s General Manager for Australia, Bill Gillespie, the company has decided to make safety a major priority with the new 4008 due to the risk issues the surround SUVs and in specific, child safety. Gillespie added that many families now opting for SUVs for practical reasons, therefore, the company decided to fit all 4008 models with a rear view camera to make sure that safety is not just an optional add-on on the new 4008. Gillespie also noted that the decision specifically figured out from Peugeot Australia to make its models and equipment line-up different to that of other models across the globe.

The 4008 will come out with both front-and-all wheel drive in two equipment levels – the Active and the Allure. Also, the model will be available with a five-speed manual gear or an optional CVT the will approximately cost AU$2,500. The high grade Allure will come in AWD with a CVT only with price that range from $38,490.

Furthermore, Gillespie said that the 4008 model represent high value in the premium Small SUV market due to its pricing and an extreme level of equipment. Additionally, all 4008 models will also be covered under the Peugeot Assured Service Plan (ASP) providing customers peace of mind when it comes to servicing their new 4008 according to Gillespie.

Now, it’s no doubt that when it comes to safety and practicality, Peugeot Australia’s 4008 crossover is the best option for having the reversing camera as its standard and a guaranteed reliable service plan.
